Fill a Corex 3.0 pod, click it in and press the single button or just inhale. The Xros Pro 2 is the Xros that goes all the way to DTL, with a 2000mAh battery to back it up.
The short version
- Two Corex 3.0 pods included: 0.6 ohm for RDTL and 0.4 ohm for DTL.
- Output runs 5 to 30W, with fine wattage control on the 0.4 ohm pod.
- Use 50% VG in the 0.6 ohm pod and 70% VG in the 0.4 ohm pod.
- The button can be locked, and the 2000mAh battery charges in about 75 minutes.
What is in the box
The Vaporesso Xros Pro 2 comes with the device, a 0.4 ohm and a 0.6 ohm Vaporesso Corex 3.0 pod, a USB-C cable, a reminder and warranty card, and a user manual.
The headline is the 2000mAh battery, which charges in about 75 minutes. Output runs 5 to 30W, and the device supports MTL, RDTL and DTL depending on the pod. It weighs 65g, light for its battery size.
The Corex 3.0 pods use a thinner wire than earlier Corex pods, which increases the heating surface and helps flavour.
Filling and first use
The pods are top filling: pull off the mouthpiece, fill to just below the top, refit it. Leave a new pod for five minutes so the Corex coil soaks before you vape.
Click the pod in and vape by inhaling or pressing the button. The single button handles everything: with a few presses you swap between the modes, and you can also lock the button for peace of mind in a pocket. The manual lists the exact press sequences.
Set the airflow slider to suit the pod: nearly closed for the 0.6 ohm pod, wide open for the 0.4 ohm pod.
- Remove the mouthpieceExpose the top fill port.
- Fill the pod50% VG for 0.6 ohm, 70% VG for 0.4 ohm.
- Wait five minutesLet the Corex coil soak.
- Insert and set airflowTighter for RDTL, open for DTL.
- VapeInhale or press the button.
Modes and wattage control
The Xros Pro 2 offers Eco, Normal and Power modes, which change how much vapour the kit creates. Eco stretches the battery, Power gives the most flavour and vapour.
With the 0.4 ohm pod only, you can adjust the wattage more precisely across the range. That pod is the DTL option, rated at 30W, and it gives a big, loose lungful of vapour.
The device takes all Xros Corex pods, so if DTL is not your thing, fit a 0.8 or 1.2 ohm pod from the Corex replacement range for a tight MTL draw at lower power.

- 16W0.8 ohm pod
- 21W0.6 ohm pod
- 30W0.4 ohm pod
E-liquid for each style
Vaporesso's advice is clear: 50% VG with the 0.6 ohm RDTL pod and 70% VG with the 0.4 ohm DTL pod. The thinner liquid keeps the higher resistance coil fed; the thicker one suits the bigger cloud and higher power.
For the 0.4 ohm pod, a 70% VG e-liquid or a shortfill at a low strength is the norm, because DTL delivers far more vapour per puff. For the 0.6 ohm pod, a 50/50 or nic salt works well.
Nicotine is addictive, so do not carry a strong 20mg nic salt over to the 0.4 ohm DTL pod; it would be far too harsh.
Three common problems and battery care
- Harsh, hot DTL hits: nicotine too strong or wattage too high for the 0.4 ohm pod. Use a low strength 70% VG liquid and step the power down.
- Leaking from the 0.4 ohm pod: thin liquid in a DTL coil floods it. Use 70% VG as recommended.
- Button firing in a pocket: lock it using the press sequence in the manual.
With 2000mAh, the Pro 2 lasts well, but DTL at 30W uses more power than MTL. Charge before it is empty and keep it out of heat, and expect fewer hours per charge on DTL days.
Who the Xros Pro 2 suits
The Xros Pro 2 suits vapers who want one pod kit that can do everything, from a tight MTL with a 1.2 ohm pod to a full DTL with the 0.4 ohm. The big battery makes it a strong all-day device.
If you only ever vape MTL, a lighter kit like the Xros 5 may suit you better. If you want a sub ohm pod kit with even more power, the Smok Nord 5 goes up to 80W.
Either way, the Pro 2 is a sensible bridge between pod kits and mods.
