How to use the Pyne Pod Click 50K: assembly, Boost Mode and refills

The Pyne Pod Click 50K vape kit is generous: you get the device, three 2ml prefilled pods, three 10ml refill containers and a user manual. Every edition kit comes with three different flavours, so the Cherry Edition, for example, mixes Cherry Ice, Fizzy Cherry and Sour Cherry Raspberry Ice.

Power comes from a built-in 750mAh battery that takes just under an hour to charge fully. The device weighs 85g and stands 9.7cm tall.

As with most big puff kits, the USB-C cable is not included, so find one before the first charge is due.

Assembly is simple. Insert the 10ml refill container into the base of the 2ml pod, then attach the battery. Now just inhale on the mouthpiece; the device is inhale activated, so there is nothing to press for normal vaping.

The 10ml container automatically refills the 2ml pod as you vape. If you want it to refill faster, for example after a heavy session, turn the kit upside down for a few seconds and the container will top up the pod.

When the e-liquid window shows both are empty, swap in another of the sets from the box, and once all three are finished pick up new Pyne Pod Click refill packs.

All refills use 20mg salt nicotine, which is smoother on the throat than freebase at the same strength. Nicotine is addictive, so this is a kit for people already used to strong disposables. Flavours span fruit, ice, drinks and candy.

• Burnt or weak taste: the pod has run low, often after chain vaping in Boost. Flip the kit upside down to refill it, switch back to standard, and pause between puffs.
• Not firing: the container is not pushed fully into the pod, or the battery connection is loose. Reassemble firmly.
• Battery dying early: Boost Mode drains 750mAh fast. Use it in short bursts and top up with a quick charge.

To protect the battery, charge before it is flat, avoid heat and use a reliable USB-C cable. The near one-hour recharge makes topping up easy.
