Cookie policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use your browser's local storage, which works in a similar way. This policy explains what we use and why.
1. Strictly necessary
These are needed for the shop to work and cannot be switched off. They are never used for tracking or advertising.
| Name | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| sv-bag | Remembers the items in your basket | Until you clear it |
| sv-adult | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or over | Until you clear it |
| sv-consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months |
| svadmin | Keeps staff signed in to the shop admin (staff only) | Session |
2. Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the shop, such as which pages are visited and where visitors arrive from. The data is aggregated and kept for 14 months. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* for up to 14 months.
3. Advertising
With your consent, advertising cookies measure whether our adverts lead to visits and orders. We do not use them to target anyone under 18.
4. Managing your choice
When you first visit, you can accept all, reject all or choose which cookies to allow. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, although the shop may then forget your basket.
5. More information
