How to use the Lost Mary BM6000 pod kit, from first puff to new refill

The Lost Mary BM6000 pod kit is the reusable follow-up to the old BM6000 disposable. In the box you get the device, one 2ml prefilled pod with a mesh coil, one 10ml refill container and a user manual.

That is 12ml of liquid in total, good for up to 6000 puffs. The battery is a built-in 1000mAh cell with a small LED on the front that shows its level.

There is no USB-C cable included, so you will need your own. The device itself is 80g and about 10cm tall, so it sits comfortably in a jeans pocket.

Set-up takes about ten seconds. The container goes into the base of the device and the mouthpiece needs to be attached on the top, then you simply inhale. The kit is inhale activated, so there is no button to find.

Do it before the taste turns weak or dry, not after. A pod that runs completely empty leaves the mesh coil heating bare cotton, and no amount of flipping fixes a scorched wick.

When both the pod and container are empty, swap in a fresh BM6000 refill pack. The device and battery stay in service.

BM6000 refills come in 0mg, 10mg and 20mg. The 10mg and 20mg versions use nic salt, which gives a smoother throat hit than freebase at the same strength. The 0mg option lets you vape the flavours without nicotine at all.

Nicotine is addictive. If you are coming from a 20mg disposable, 20mg will feel familiar; if that feels too strong, 10mg is the obvious step down, and it is the same flavour range.

• Taste going weak mid-refill: the pod needs topping up. Flip it upside down as described above.
• Battery flat by teatime: 1000mAh covers a typical day, but heavy chain vaping drains it sooner. Give it a lunchtime top-up.

For a longer battery life overall, avoid leaving the kit on a hot windowsill and do not let it sit completely flat for weeks. A cell that is stored empty for a long time can lose capacity for good.

This kit is for people who liked the BM6000 disposable and want the same feel with a reusable battery. It suits MTL vapers who want no settings, no filling and a choice of nicotine strength including zero.

If you would rather fill your own e-liquid, it is not the right tool, because the pods are sealed. Lost Mary's smaller BM600 pod kit is even more compact if pocket size matters most.
