Coffee, tea and café-style vape flavours: espresso to peach iced tea

3 min readUpdated 4 Oct 2026By the Spectrum Vaping team

Coffee is one of the trickiest flavours to get right in a vape and one of the most loyal followings when it works. Add tea and cocktail-inspired liquids and you have a whole café menu, minus the caffeine and the hangover.

The short version

  • Coffee styles run from dark espresso to latte, mocha and caramel.
  • Tea vapes, especially peach iced tea, are lighter alternatives.
  • Coffee and tea liquids are flavour only: no caffeine, no alcohol in cocktail styles.
  • Dark coffee suits MTL; creamy coffee suits sub-ohm tanks.

The café menu: coffee, tea and cocktails

Coffee liquids fall into two camps. Dark styles like espresso and black coffee are roasty and slightly bitter. Creamy styles like latte, cappuccino, mocha and caramel coffee add milk, sugar and sometimes chocolate or caramel, making them much smoother.

Tea liquids are lighter. Black tea is brisk and tannic, peach iced tea is fruity and refreshing, and chai brings warm spice. Then there are cocktail-inspired flavours like mojito and rum, which copy the taste of the drink and nothing else.

Browse coffee liquids, tea liquids or mojito liquids to explore each corner.

Coffee liquids worth trying

Coffee rarely goes it alone in e-liquid, because pure coffee flavouring can taste thin or burnt. Most of the best coffee vapes add something to round it out:

  • Coffee and doughnut: like the Crispy Coffee nic salt, with caramel and cream.
  • Mocha: coffee and chocolate.
  • Caramel latte: sweet, creamy and smooth.
  • Hazelnut coffee: nutty and warm.
  • Iced coffee: creamy coffee with a cool finish.
  • Coffee tobacco: dark roast and dry leaf, very grown-up.

If you want coffee without the coil cost of cream, a dark roast with hazelnut is lighter than a full latte. Creamy coffees taste most like a café drink but come with dessert-level coil wear.

Best device and ratio for coffee and tea

Dark coffee and tea flavours suit a mouth-to-lung setup with a 50/50 liquid. The cooler, tighter draw keeps roasty notes from turning burnt and lets the brisk character of tea come through.

Creamy coffees are different. Latte, mocha and caramel coffee open up in a sub-ohm tank with a 70/30 shortfill, where the extra warmth and vapour make the milk and caramel feel richer.

Coffee is easy to overheat. If it starts tasting like burnt toast, drop the power. Nicotine is addictive, so choose your strength separately from your café order. The finder below suggests a starting point.

Café myths

Drink-inspired flavours raise obvious questions, because the names promise ingredients that are not there. Coffee vapes copy the taste of coffee and contain no caffeine: UK rules on nicotine e-liquids do not allow stimulant additives of that kind. Tea vapes are the same.

Cocktail-style liquids such as mojito or rum are flavour only too. They are designed to taste like the drink, not to act like it. And coffee flavours vary far more than people expect, from bitter espresso to sweet, milky latte. Tap the cards to see the rest of the common mix-ups.

Coffee, coils and pairings

Dark coffee and tea are fairly kind to coils, though coffee flavourings can be darker in colour than fruit. Creamy and caramel coffees behave like desserts and wear coils faster.

Coffee pairs with a short list of partners, all of them familiar from a café counter:

  • Caramel and toffee: sweet and toasty.
  • Hazelnut: warm and nutty.
  • Chocolate: mocha.
  • Cream and vanilla: latte and cappuccino styles.
  • Doughnuts and pastry: coffee and cake.
  • Tobacco: a classic for ex-smokers. Our tobacco guide covers this blend.

Peach and lemon are the go-to partners for tea.

Your coffee liquid suddenly tastes like burnt toast. What is the most likely fix?

Quick answers

Do coffee vapes contain caffeine?

No. Caffeine is not permitted as an additive in UK nicotine e-liquids, so coffee vapes are flavour only.

What is the best coffee vape flavour?

Caramel or creamy coffee is the most popular. Dark roast or coffee tobacco suits people who want a less sweet vape.

What does peach iced tea vape taste like?

Light, fruity and refreshing, like a cold glass of peach iced tea, often with a cool finish.

Are cocktail vape flavours alcoholic?

No. Mojito, rum and similar liquids only copy the taste of the drink.
